MIKE ALLEN: “great work for The Prophets”

Mike Allen / bass - The Prophets Qt River Bend Media Group recording executive and producer, Johhny Minick, reports that MIKE ALLEN of The Prophets Quartet, did a fantastic job in his recording sessions this past week. Mike’s terrific bass voice adds a unique flair to the legendary quartet’s sound that left Minick exclaiming, “this excites me!” During last weeks sessions at The Playroom in Smyrna,TN Mike completed all the work presented to him by producers Michael Sykes and the Minick father and son team of Johnny and Aaron. The Prophets (circa 2007) remain on course for a summer release of their first album. More details will be announced soon.

    The Prophets do have a great sounding bass. The old quartet sound is revived, Mike’s CD sample songs show his talent. Can’t wait to hear The Prophets live. Who knows the Arkansas Revival Center Choir might be a back up vocal to them in years to come. Thanks Ed, Johnny and Aaron for the hard work to get the Quartet going again.
